She’s made us laugh (and sometimes cry) through her role of Deepa in the hit television series Tito Satya. And now, Dipashree Niraula has proven she’s more than an actress and has touched our hearts through her noble deed.

The actress showed her philanthropic side on Saturday, September 8 at a big event organised by production house Aama Saraswoti Movies. The Teej special program saw her help five women who, despite their weak financial circumstance, were very much involved in social work. Niraula handed over a huge grant of Rs 11,111 each to Dil Shova Shrestha, Bhima Khatiwada, Goma Rai, Ganga Rayamajhi and Dr. Aruna Uprety in the presence of a number of famed personalities from Nepali media. The ceremony, which was telecast live on Nepal Television, had a total of almost 500 women guests and also had A-listers such as superstar Rajesh Hamal, senior actresses Laxmi Giri, Basundhara Bhusal and upcoming actress Nisha Adhikari.
