During a time when things are hardly going right and there’s so much instability around the world, tales of inspiration make us realise that there’s still hope for and faith in humanity. Here’s such a story that remind us of the good old phrase “where there’s a will, there’s a way” for a noble deed.

Four Finnish boys drove in a car from Helsinki to Kathmandu raising funds to support education in Nepal. They reached Kathmandu last week after travelling more than 9000km and have pledged Rs. 10 million as support. Their initiative is called “Autolla Nepaliin” and has their motto as “We’re driving from Finland to Nepal and BACK by car for a good cause”.

Ncell, a multinational telecom service in Nepal, will be supporting this initiative of the boys of Finland to support education in Nepal. The network is already supporting 36 schools and will continue to contribute in education in Nepal. To further support the Finnish boys in their endeavour, Ncell will start selecting schools through FIDA for 2013.
