Last week, Nepali music lovers were treated to awesome music. One of the oldest and most respected Indian fusion rock bands Indian Ocean performed  in the country.

Indian Ocean Live In Kathmandu was held at Nepal Army Officers’ Club Auditorium on July 18, Wednesday. The band, who are known to feed on the energy their audience creates, were received very well by the Nepali spectators. They absolutely rocked the stage and the connection between them and the crowd was undoubtedly electrifying. Everyone was enjoying the show to the fullest. The concert was a presentation of Embassy of India in association with Indian Council for Cultural Relations and B. P. Koirala India-Nepal foundation.

Indian Ocean also did other concerts, one in Pokhara and two in the capital itself. One of them took place at the Indian Embassy. They performed to a few invited guests and also shared the stage with Nepali rockers Mukti Shakya of the band Mukti N Revival and 1974 AD’s Adrian Pradhan. Both jammed with the foursome for some favourite Nepali tunes.
