Indian Tourist Bus Burned Down In Pokhara

An Indian bus carrying tourists has been torched in the Lakeside of Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City-6 of Kaski district on Sunday night, reports The Himalayan Times.

The bus number UP 51 T 8311 had arrived in the lake city of Nepal from Gujarat of India and was parked in the area.

SP Hari Bahadur Pal of District Police Office, Kaski informed that assistant of the driver and another person, who were sleeping in the bus, came out soon after the bus was put on fire to save themselves from injuries.

SP Pal further said the reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained and the investigation regarding the case is on.

No human casualties have occurred in the incident.

The fire was taken under control with the help of a fire brigade, informed police.
