To begin the production of Fagu- The Colours of Life, the mahurat of the film was held at Hotel Yak & Yeti on January 25. The star-studded event was graced by many familiar faces and who’s who of Nepali film industry. Amongst the present were Shilpa Pokharel, Gauri Malla and Rajesh Hamal who will be starring the movie. Constituent Assembly member and lawyer Sapana Pradhan Malla officially started the program which also saw her do the honours of launching the work on the film.

Being directed by Samjhana Upreti Rauniar, Fagu is the forth presentation of Binod and Karishma Manandhar after a hiatus of 12 years. The celebrated couple had previously produced ‘Kasturi’, ‘Dhukdhuki’ and ‘Babusaheb’. The upcoming movie will introduce actor Subash Parajuli in the lead role.
