Nepal Wins Against Host Namibia By 3 Wickets

Nepal has won against host Namibia by 3 wickets at the ongoing ICC World Cricket League Division 2 held at the Wanderers cricket ground in Windhoek, Namibia on Wednesday (January 21, 2015).

Namibia were all-out scoring 142 runs at 49.1 overs. Nepal chasing a target of 143 runs, achieved 146 runs losing 7 wickets in 37.5 overs.

Nepal’s captain Paras Khadka scored the maximum with a total of 64 runs studded with six fours and 3 sixes in 56 balls. Similarly, vice captain Gyanendra Malla made 31 runs with 2 fours off 73 balls while right-handed batsman Binod Bhandari contributed 18 runs including 1 four off 32 balls.

For Namibia, G Snyman took highest 3 wickets conceding 23 runs in 7 overs, CG Williams claimed two wickets giving away 29 runs while L Klazinga and CF Snyman grabbed 1 wicket a piece.
