Nepalese Society of Texas raises over $100,000 for Nepal Earthquake Victims

Nepalese Society of Texas (NST) has raised over 100,000 USD for the earthquake victims of Nepal. The organization has also collected medical supplies, food, clothes and more. They have also sent out two teams of volunteers to serve the victims directly at various places in Nepal. The first team of 15 volunteers, including doctors and nurses, left for Nepal on April 29, 2015 with food and medical supplies. NST organized a prayer ceremony in Irving, Texas on the 13th day of the Nepal earthquake to mourn the loss of lives by the disaster. A second team of 5 volunteers left for Nepal on May 9th, 2015.
