Miss Global Nepal was held today at Rastriya Naach Ghar, Jamal. Beating other 18 contestants, Neelam Chand was crowned the title. Alisha Kunwar and Rakshya Thapa were announced the first and second runner up respectively. Chand will be flying to Jamaica to participate in Miss Global International being held on September 22, 2012.
Organised by Loft Creations, the event was hosted by former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba and was telecast live on channe E24. The panel of judges included renowned lyricist Shankar Prasad Koirala, social worker Rubaya Nath Koirala, senior journalist Jivram Bhandari, Miss Nepal 1999 Shweta Singh, senior model/media personality Kala Subba and senior actor Shiromani Dawadi.
