Well known for making films inspired by nationalism and different subject matters, director Manoj Pandit is currently creating a buzz through his latest project Badhshala.
A presentation of Smashing Apple, the upcoming drama is undergoing its post-production work in full swing and it boasts of a stellar cast featuring renowned actors Anup Baral, Saugat Malla, Dayahang Rai, Khagendra Lamichhane, Arpan Thapa, Sarita Giri, and Samuna KC among others.
The movie has tried to depict the current political scenario of Nepal and is based on the story in relation to prisoners and jailers. It will try to show how the prisoners are treated while doing their time behind bars.
Badhshala is slated for release in 2013 and has been getting attention from many involved in the film industry and movie enthusiasts alike since its filming began last July. With a plot as new and gripping as that, it has surely managed to become one of the highly anticipated flicks.
