Having organised several events over the years, Nepalese Fashion Home are adding one more beauty pageant to their portfolio. Preparations for Princess Nepal 2012 have already begun! The audition for the show took place on September 18, Tuesday. There were a total of 125 applicants, out of which 55 contestants will be competing for the very first crown of Princess Nepal.
The contest is open for participation from talented teenage girls from different backgrounds, from school going to college students. They will be representing different ethnic groups of our country. It basically aims to promote culture, boost up confidence in the participants and to give the platform to showcase their talent.
The panel of judges included Miss Newa 2011Sunita Dangol, Ujwal Krishna Shrestha, Amarjyoti Ranjit, Nirnaya Shrestha, K.M Ranjitkar, and Rojin Shakya among others.
The selected contestants will go through 25-30 days of training and will also be involved in many other social activities. Rojin Shakya and Rohiya Maharjan will handle the job of choreographing them. The finale for Princess Nepal is scheduled to be held on October 18 (Kartik 2), Thursday at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi.
