In a road accident that occurred near Dhansar Bridge along the East-West Highway in Rautahat district on January 8, 2015, one person was killed and other 12 were injured, as told by police.

The deceased has been identified as Mina Tamang, 27, of Chisapani VDC of Ramechhap district. Other injured people are are said to be undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

The accident took place when a bus (Na 5 Kha 272) hit a stationary truck at the place. Police suspect the cause behind the accident might be over speed and foggy weather.
