    Sonakshi Khadka Crowned The First Princess Nepal!

    After three weeks of hard work, training and various activities, the grand finale of the highly anticipated pageant Princess Nepal 2012 took place on October 18, Thursday at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi.

    42 talented teenage girls competed for the very first title of Princess Nepal and impressing the judges with her answer, the crown went to Sonakshi Khadka. Suwanta Shah and Miseek Limbu stood as the first and second runners-up respectively.

    Based on the introduction, top 18 contestants were selected and after the questioning round by the jury members, the top 8 was announced. The panel at the event consisted of Chief Judge Senon D. Lama (Chairman and MD, Senon Carpet Ind P. LTD, Hotel Shahanshah International P. LTD and System Holder P. LTD), Anil Shah (CEO, Mega Bank), senior singer Uday Sotang, rapper/RJ Nirnaya Shrestha, entrepreneur and social worker Rekha Khetan, Neha Shah Kachhyapati (Director, Sparsh Spa and personality development instructor), Miss Newa 2011 Suneeta Dangol and Raju Maharjan (Principal, New Zenith Model English School)

    Organised by Nepalese Fashion Home, the beauty pageant’s objective was to empower youth and build up more confident among them.
