ANA Fashion Extravaganza has been significantly recognized in the United States as well as in Nepal. Since 2008, ANA Fashion Extravaganza is witnessed as an integral part of the ANA Convention. With great support, interest, and massive enthusiasm from fellow Nepalese Fashion Dynamics, we are enormously elated to announce the 7th ANA FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA -“A Fiesta of Nepali Culture in Style” to be held in Washington D.C, on 5th of July 2014.
It is for the seventh consistent year in North America the Nepali youths will disseminate their “Nepali pan” through their talent in art, fashion and glamour. This event not only excites and inspires the public with demonstrated excellence, but also brings out of the shadow the veiled talents in the most effectual mode ever witnessed before.
This year we have ensured the biggest modification for the fashion fiesta. The proclaimed title for the winners of ANA Fashion has been transformed from “Mr and Miss Vogue ANA” to “Mr ANA Nepal and Miss ANA Nepal”. The deviations are not just limited to the title but also in terms of how the winners of the designations will contribute in future ANA Conventions. The winners shall be appointed as the Ambassadors for the ANA convention until their reign for a year. As Ambassadors, they shall spread goodwill in the community through various media and promote Nepalese culture as well as the ANA convention in years to come. The selection shall be done through vigorous training procedures and upon fulfillment of certain criteria during the grand finale. This year, the fashion show will explore a new dimension as we take a grand leap forward with our precedence of giving back to all the contestants in every way while also improving our past inadequacies.
We will have connoisseur designers and expert choreographer who will elegantly grace the show. The fashion stage will be embellished by sophisticated designs along with outstanding and unique choreography. Likewise, ANA Fashion Extravaganza 2014 Team is being led by Co-Chairs Sujana Rajkarnikar (Miss Muskan ANA 2012) and Sushma Bogati (Miss ANA Vogue 2012). Co-chairs along with other dedicated and hardworking team members are aspiring to make this fashion event grander than ever before.
As a team, our goal is to provide an opportune platform for the Nepalese Youth to showcase their artistic talents. Our shows bring together many art enthusiasts from Nepal and different states in the US: models, actors, musicians, photographers, videographers, graphics artists, DJ’s, choreographers and event organizers. We have been successfully hosting fashion shows for the past 6 years and we are proud to be able to continue this cherished event.
In the pool of exceedingly outstanding applicants this year, the deserving top 16 will been skimmed under fair judgment and vigilant scrutiny. The selected 8 Female and 8 Male models will be provided marvelous landscape opportunity to dazzle the ramp and join us all during the Mega event this year.
The most justified and deserving two models will be proclaimed “Miss ANA Nepal 2014″and “Mr ANA Nepal 2014”. The other titles that the models will be competing for this year are as follows:

2. Height (minimum): 5′ 2″ for women and 5’5″ for men
3. All applicants must be of Nepalese descent.
