Candy Crush Creator in Kathmandu

tommy-palm-candy-crush-fs-013_196758574Tommy Karl Palm, the creator of popular gaming app Candy Crush Saga and Games Guru of King.com is in Nepal. Palm is currently in Kathmandu to mentor and inspire 150 teams participating in Ncell App Camp – the biggest app challenge of the country.

According to a statement released by Ncell, Palm will attend one of the capacity building seminars of Ncell App Camp on November 15 as a guest speaker. He will share his personal experiences and guide the contestants on themes like mobile app development, entrepreneurship and skills that the teams should hone for successful start-ups and business development.

Shedding more light “As Ncell App Camp aims to unleash the country’s digital potential and make Nepali youngsters part of the worldwide mobile application industry, mentorship by renowned personalities like Palm will provide the participants invaluable insights and exposure,” says Sanju Koirala, corporate communication director of Ncell.

Palm is considered one of the most inspiring personalities in global mobile app industry and is attributed for huge success of Candy Crush Saga that has over 100 million downloads and daily revenue of US$ 500,000.
