The capital, today (23rd Nov), has been met by double sad incidents.

A cycle accident took place this morning at Lagankhel in Lalitpur. 20-year old Tikaram Gole lost his life on the spot after being struck by a passenger bus  while he was riding on his cycle. Gole was a student at Technical Training Research Institute, Kanibahal. Republica reports his body is kept at Patan Hospital for post-mortem.

Police have impounded the vehicle and the driver is on the run.

While at Kalanki, the body of an 11-year old school boy who had gone missing since last Friday was found in front of a bus ticket counter this morning.

According to the Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD), the third grader Subham Shah had, in fact, been kidnapped from Bafal that day. His body was found inside a sack. The MPCD also said it has arrested five persons in connection with the incident.
