Anand Gurung, associate editor at Nepalnews.com, released ‘Journalism & Journeys’ at Nepal Tourism Board on Friday. The book, containing 16 chapters and 19 articles, is about his travel experiences and is published by Vajra Publications.
Anand hopes that his book will speak on his behalf and about my experiences and ideas. ‘Journalism & Journeys’ also shows the beauty of Nepal is and, at the same time, is entertaining and enjoyable,
Dr Tara Nath Sharma, a litterateur and travel writer, and D B Gurung, a poet and novelist, were invited as the chief guests in the event.
“Everyone should read this book because it is about our nation today. And I think that to be a travel writer, one needs to be a journalist first because only a journalist can write with simplicity, perfection and report the truth,” said Dr Sharma.
