One of the biggest outdoor festivals of the country, the 8th Sundance Music Festival 2013 was held on March 16. The annual two-day musical event took place at The Last Resort standing on the cliff overlooking the Bhote Koshi river and once again saw a number of music artistes come together to give awesome performances.
What The Funk – We Are Soul’d Out, Joint Family Internationale, Subani Moktan, Albatross, Envivo, Confusion, The Boys Next Door, and Drummer’s Circle all took to the stage to entertain the crowd eager to spend their weekend with a blast and make it a memorable one. On the other hand, DJ Rabbit and DJ Bpm made sure they danced the night away the right way.
There were also some surprise acts. YouTube sensation Nattu and media personality Samrriddhi Rai performed a few songs, which was said to be an unrehearsed gig.
Besides the good music, the guests also got the chance to indulge in amazing food, the serene environment, camping experience and not to forget, the world famous bungy jump!
For those living outside the Nepalese border, this event comes highly recommended. You should definitely give it a try once you set your foot here in the country.
