Another huge milestone achieved by Nepal today (September 28, 2013). For the first time in the history of Miss Nepal participation at the Miss world pageant, Miss Nepal managed to reach the Top 10! Yes, apart from winning the title of Beauty with a purpose Ishani Shrestha was ranked no. 5 at the Top 10. She even beat potential competitors like India. She really did us proud with her performance at the event that took place in Indonesia. This years participation has really been memorable for Nepal since Ishani was also among the 11 contestants who had the chance to perform Nepali Tradition Dance in the Miss World Final Night! “Dances of the World”. Congratulations once again to Miss Nepal 2013!

Miss Philippines Megan Young was crowned the 63rd Miss World. Miss France and Miss Ghana became first and second runner-up respectively.
