Following the tragic accident of Tara Air plane, another plane crash has been reported. A 9N-AJB of Air Kasthamandap bound to Jumla from Nepalgunj met an accident in Chilkhaya of Kalikot in mid-western Nepal on Friday (February 26, 2016).

According to THT Online, Kalikot Chief District Officer Pradeep Shrestha confirmed the incident informing the mishap occurred while force landing the aircraft that was carrying 11 passengers.

Now the latest reports say two crew members have died in the incident while nine others including a minor has been injured. The deceased have been identified as Dinesh Neupane (pilot) and Santosh Rana (co-pilot).

The casualties are being treated at a health post in Chilkhaya. The front part of the ill-fated plane is reported to have been damaged completely.
