K-town Gets One More Multiplex Richer

Adding one more to the list of few, a brand new multiplex cinema has been opened in Kathmandu. Situated at Chabahil’s new shopping complex KL Tower  under the KL Cinema City division, FCUBE Cinema Hall was inaugurated at an evening event on Thursday.

KL Tower Chairman Kishan Lal Shrestha, managing director of KL Tower Sundar Shrestha and Chairman of QFX Cinemas Nakim Uddin formally inaugurated the new multiplex. FCUBE began serving the general public from Friday.

The KL Cinema City covers the 6th, 7th and 8th floor of KL Tower where the audience can enjoy a movie watching experience backed by advanced technology  in a great ambiance. They are currently running two halls and will operate the third one soon. Both the theaters, Cube 1 and Cube 2, have a capacity of two hundred seats each. All the three screens have 2K projection screens and are capable of screening 3D movies.

FCUBE has also prioritised the sound system. The premium movie outlet has fitted theaters with three-ware Dolby Digital sound system.

Movie buffs will have to pay Rs 225 per ticket to watch a film at FCUBE during weekdays (Monday-Thursday). During weekends (Friday-Sunday), the ticket price has been fixed at Rs 275. As for 3D movies, the audience will have to pay Rs 250 during weekdays and Rs 300 on weekends. For normal movies in the morning show, the multiplex will charge Rs 150, while the charge for 3D movies during morning shows stands at Rs 200.

FCUBE will screen all genres of movies in Nepali, Hindi and English language.
