The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has raided the office of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) suspecting irregularities of funds, reported NepalNews.com.

The raid was carried following several complaints filed at the CIAA about financial embezzlements in the KMC.

The CIAA team has seized documents and files from all necessary sections of the KMC office at Bagdurbar, Sundhara, says Shreedhar Sapkota, the CIAA spokesperson.
