Three people have been killed by lightning strikes in Solukhumbu district on Wednesday night (February 18, 2015).

As informed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chandra Dev Rai, the deceased have been identified as Dandi Prasad Ghimire; 41, Anisha Rai; 11, and Ramesh BK; 32 of Baku-1.

Similarly, Purna Bahadur Ghimire was injured in the incident, said police.
