Music For A Cause

Hits FM 91.2 and House of Music collaborated once again for yet another edition of Music By The Museum which was held successfully on April 6 at Patan Museum. This time, the event featured Ani Choying and was in aid of Arogya Foundation-the kidney hospital.

On Friday evening, the museum was jam packed with audience, some to enjoy Ani Choying’s soulful music and some to back a noble cause. Certain amount of proceeds from the ticket sales are to be donated to Arogya Foundation to help kidney patients who cannot afford the required treatment.

Hits FM 91.2 initiated Hits FM Music Awards to provide recognition to the deserving and potential artists of Nepali music fraternity. And branching out from its musical welfare, it embarked on its quest to create opportunity and platform where such talents can actually come and play. That was how the concept for Music By The Museum was born. Cultural heritage contained by the museum and music to complement its atmosphere make a brilliant/excellent combination. The very tradition began 4 years ago in 2008.

Previously, the event has featured various artists such as Deep Shrestha, 1974 AD, Manose Singh, Nhyoo Bajracharya, Shreya Sotang, Ciney Gurung, and Nima Rumba among others.

Here are some few glimpses of the event:
