Princess Jayanti Achievement Award Ceremony was held at Hotel Annapurna on August 4, 2015, Tuesday. For this year, the awards were presented to Archana Thapa Magar (third year), Shivani Shah (second year), and Richa Sainju (first year).

Collaboratively organized by Hotel Annapurna and the Jayanti Memorial Trust annually for the past 13 years. the function honours three female students attending Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) who have topped in their respective academic year. They are awarded with medals and scholarships.

Shah and Sainju were presented a silver medal each while Thapa Magar was honoured with a gold medal. All the three winners received a cash prize of Rs 40, 000 each.

Chief Guest Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Kripasur Sherpa and the hotel’s Executive Director Shreejana Rana jointly presented the awards to the winners.

The event, which was a part of Hotel Annapurna’s 50th anniversary, was also attended by many respected personalities including its General Manager Abhinav Narsingh Rana among others. It is held in memory of Princess Jayanti with the aim of empowering women.
