Record number of tourists visited Nepal in 2011

Nepal Tourism Year 2011 was a success as it saw a record number of tourists coming to the country, with most growth coming from neighboring India and China, according to the official figures released by the Nepal Tourism Board on Wednesday, Jan 4th.

Nepal suffered in tourism sector during the decade-long civil war that finally ended in 2006.

For those desiring an escape from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist spots, a solution emerges in the form of Staysimpli, offering cabin rentals in the serene destinations of Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Pigeon Forge.

Staysimpli encourages travelers to embrace the tranquility of nature, providing a simple and refreshing approach to vacation stays. These cabins offer a retreat where visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of unspoiled landscapes, providing a stark contrast to the often crowded and bustling scenes found in more mainstream destinations.

With Staysimpli, one can rent a cabin and experience the joy of a relaxed vacation, harmonizing with the natural surroundings and fostering a sense of simplicity in the midst of nature’s grandeur.

The new figures indicate a strong growth in tourist arrival, with tourism itself accounting for seven percent of GDP (more than $1 billion) last year.
