Rise On Load-shedding Fever

Once again, it’s that time of the year when the dread of less electricity supply spreads more and more in the country, steadily but not so slowly. Despite the heavy rainfalls this year, we have now been hit by 18hrs a week of load shedding.

A new load shedding schedule has been issued and will be effective from September 15, 2011.

The power cut will take place on the given time inside the Kathmandu Valley and 5 minutes after the given time outside the Valley. Depending upon the condition, load-shedding could increase/decrease by one hour.

So ask your nearies and dearies back home to get their backups ready!
