UCPN (Maoist) vice-chair and senior leader of the party Posta Bahadur Bogati has passed away. Bogati died at 7:25 am on Monday morning (September 15, 2014), while undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu.

He had suffered from heart attack and brain hemorrhage and was hooked to a ventilator and other life-support systems on Sunday, following further deterioration of his health condition.

He was transferred to Norvic after heart surgery at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre. The UCPN (M) party leaders held a meeting to discuss about leader Bogati’s condolence-meet and funeral procedures.
