To mark the occasion of International Women’s Day, Care Nepal has organized Woman’s Week. Managed by KGarira.com, the event kicked off from today (March 8) with its first activity Care Nepal Scooty Rally 2013 which had the motto ‘Awareness Against Women Violence’. It started 9:00 am onwards from Kathmandu Durbar Square to Patan Durbar Square.
All the proceeds collected from the rally will be donated to Care Nepal and Hamri Baini organisations.
Another activity of the event happens to be Care Nepal Art Exhibition “WOMEN” which is scheduled to be held from March 8th till 10th at Patan Museum from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. There will also be Care Nepal Documentary screening on “WOMEN” on March 9 at Basantapur Bhugol Park, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
