Arrived at Somerset House around quarter to six and was super excited to witness the show. All the dedicated fashion followers were in their best outfit, queuing outside the venue. Once inside, the seats filled up quickly. Even though I had a ticket with blue dot (which means dedicated seat) I didn’t get seat. However, that didn’t kill my excitement. As the music started to play, the tall and beautiful models started to walk the catwalk with amazing outfits. It just changed the whole environment and flustered me with excitement and happiness. The catwalk hall came alive and everybody got busy snapping, taking videos and writing. It was my first day at LFW and Antipodium did not disappoint me.
Antipodium collection ranged from fur, print chiffon tea dresses, PVC bomber jackets to white crisp blazers. The bright and pastel colour dominated the catwalk and the collection showcased a touch of British eccentricity. It was a stunning infusion of sport and city chic look. They acknowledged the inspiration for this Autumn/Winter collection ‘Vermin’ came from the streets of East London. Antipodium has certainly delivered another remarkable collection and has projected the British Coolness that they have become synonyms with.
