The highly anticipated event Miss UK Nepal 2012 finally took place on September 9 and the crown of the coveted title went to 21-year-old Durga Gurung. Following suit were  Parika Ale and Nayan Gurung who placed as 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.

According to what blogger Lex Limbu mentioned in his post, designs by Nepali fashion enthusiasts presented at the show were commendable and that the highlight was the farewell speech by Miss UK Nepal 2011 Gaumaya Gurung. He further added that the third edition of the pageant could not quite meet the expectations of the spectators.
