“The Arlington Police Department is investigating the death of a woman in her 20s, who was discovered deceased this evening in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Police Officers were dispatched at approximately 8:40 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2012, to multiple calls reporting shots fired in the area of the apartment complex located in the 2200 block of Henderson Drive. Officers arrived on scene and discovered the woman was deceased with an apparent gunshot wound. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will release her name and cause of death once they make an official identification and next of kin notification has occurred.
Updated – Suspect Arrested and Charged
Arlington Police Detectives have continued to work this case throughout the night while following up several leads. Today, the investigation has led to the identification of a suspect and his vehicle in Irving. Earlier this afternoon around 1:15 pm, Arlington Fugitive Detectives arrested an individual for Class C Misdemeanor warrants who ended up being an acquaintance to the victim of the homicide. These warrants consisted of an insurance ticket out of Arlington and some miscellaneous traffic violations out of Grand Prairie. After further investigation this evening by homicide detectives, Roshan Sah (DOB 11-6-1987), a 25 year-old male from Arlington, was charged with murder in the shooting death of Linda Villanueva with initial bond set at $100,000.Detectives will continue to prepare a timeline of what led to this shooting as details emerge.”
