“Holi” Festival to be celebrated on February 28

Indreni Cultural Association is organizing a cultural event to celebrate “Holi” – the festival of colors on Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Grapevine, Texas.

Here’s a short description of the festival and the event from the organizers.

We all know “Holi (also called Fagu Poornima)” is known as one of the greatest festivals in Nepal and has been celebrated since long ago. In addition, it is regarded as a festival of color and an occasion to share feelings and thoughts each other so that happiness, faith and a close relationship between community members is possible. So we would like to invite sincerely to all of our community members to join the event and make it success. We are really hopeful that the young ones who missed their Nepalese culture in their motherland would have a moment to learn about their native culture in a foreign land.
