Incidents Around Kathmandu

Mysterious stories continue to take place in the capital. Here are few that round up January 11, Wednesday.

A body of infant was found floating in a well at Naya Bazaar, Khusibu of Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.

Police said that the body was discovered at the well in the premises of private property owned by Tanka Kaji Prajapati at around 10 this morning.

In another incident, an unidentifed woman who appears to be in her 40s was found dead at Kimdole, Swayambhu yesterday afternoon.

A 27-year-old woman has been severely injured after her neighbour, identified as Muktinath Phuyal (35), attacked her with an axe over a dispute at Kabhresthali on the outskirts of Kathmandu on Wednesday.

The victim, Parvati Phuyal, has sustained injuries on head. She was rushed to the Balaju-based Janamaitri Hospital for treatment following the incident.

Police nabbed the assaulter.
