Recipient of the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award, Mahabir Pun called for support from people in order to set up a National Innovation Centre, both financially and idea-wise.
Pun attended the Joy of Giving, a musical charity event organised by Premier International IB World School coinciding with the festive season of Christmas in Khumaltar, Lalitpur on Sunday (December 25, 2016) as reported by The Himalayan Times. Speaking at the function, Pun said that the Centre would help reduce the outflow of human capital from the country as it would provide them with the platform here itself.
Participated by students and parents community of the school, the event was organised to support Pun’s venture of setting up the Centre.
It was announced at the school function that they later hand over Pun the charity amount collected from the event.
