Popular rapper Yama Buddha has died. The talented artist, real name Anil Adhikari, was found dead in his apartment in London, UK on Saturday (January 14, 2017). He was 29.
His death has been ruled as apparent suicide. According to sources, Adhikari’s body was discovered at 3:00 am in the bathroom of his residence which he shared with his wife.
Reports further inform that the dead body has been kept at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow and that the family members have been told to contact only on Monday. It has been learnt that the postmortem will be conducted on Wednesday, after which the cause of death will be announced.
The news has shocked the entire Nepali music fraternity and fans all over the world. Well known his music often reflecting social issues, the hip hopper was able to gain immense popularity in a short period of time. Some of his hits are Saathi, Aama, and Yo Prasanga. He was said to be working on the release of his new album Khatara.
