The team of Siddhartha Vanasthali ‘A’ has won the Inter-school Futsal Competition organised by Chamati based Nepa: Futsal. The team lifted the trophy after defeating Siddhi Ganesh Higher Secondary School 5-2 at the finals held on March 7, Sunday.

Nishcal Jung Karki of Siddhartha Vanasthali ‘A’ scored 2 goals in the final.

Chief guest Ram Chandra Thapa distributed the medals, and certificates to the winners and the runners-up. Cash prize was also handed out by Thapa.

There were a total of 11 teams from 10 schools that participated in the competition. Among them, Binit Magar of Rashmi Secondary School was named the Best Player while Siddhartha Vanasthali’s Sagar Thapa was announced the High Scorer and Saurab Khadgi of New Zenith received the title of Best Goalkeeper.
