The Third Nepal Africa Film Festival 2013 screening committee is being organised by College of Journalism and Mass Communication (CJMC). The grand opening ceremony of the festival at Russian Cultural Center will take place on June 18, at 10.30 am.
The festival will continue for three days with the theme ‘Bridging gap between Nepal and Africa’. The chief guest of the opening ceremony will be renowned Nepali film star Rajesh Hamal along with other dignitaries, diplomats, other professionals and film makers.
The organisers have selected 10 African Films out of 30 films scheduled to be shown. They will also have special screenings of two Danish films, one Russian film and three Nepali films.
The aim of the event is to expose more about Africa to the Nepalese audience and let them explore more about the continent.
