Actress Sushila Rayamajhi Dies At 55

Veteran actress Sushila Rayamajhi passed away. The star, who had been battling with uterine cancer for over a year, finally gave in to the disease, informed NewsofNepal.com. The site further revealed Rayamajhi had actually died on Wednesday at B & B Hospital where she was having the treatment but the news of the demise made way only late on Thursday.

Starting her career over two decades ago through radio plays, stage plays and television series, Rayamajhi has contributed immensely to Nepali film industry through a number of movies. She is known for her roles in Chot, Yug Dekhi Yug Samma, Naata Ragat Ko, and Pahuna among others.
