A Soccer team of Nepalese origin based in the US, Dallas Gurkhas FC is in its final phase of the preparations for the 5th Annual Dashain Cup-2016 (5V5 Soccer Tournament).

According to the organizing committee, this year’s tournament will be dedicated to the earthquake survivor children of Nepal. The profit from this charity tournament will go to the Club’s “Support Program To School Children In Nepal” that provides aids and sports related materials to school children. The Club is going to coordinate with GoalNepal.com as a partner in Nepal in this initiative in the coming days. Dallas Gurkhas’ Coordinator Binod Bista, stated, “We would like to invite teams from all over the USA to be part of this fun tournament with a cause. We are putting our tremendous amount of time and energy to make this event exciting, beneficial and continue with its legacy. Our work in this tournament for the past four years has already proved that it’s a well-organized and great platform for players of every level.”

This year the tournament is happening on October 1, 2016. All interested team/s are required to register online on www.dallasgurkhas.com by September 25 before midnight.

“Let’s bring the Sportsmanship Back-Unite Not Divide” has been chosen as the slogan for this year’s tournament.
