A man was reportedly crushed to death by chariot during Bisket Jatra celebrations on Saturday night (April 9, 2016).
According to police, 45-year-old Laxmi Prasad Tyata of Bhaktapur-8 died after being run down by the chariot of Bhairavnath deity at around 9:55 pm yesterday.
According to spokesperson Sekhar Khanal at Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, three other people, including a cop, were also injured during the rush in course of pulling the chariot.
According to him, all of them have returned home following treatment.
